Mountain's Edge is a large master-planned community in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, built from the 2000s around Exploration Peak and its regional park. It combines single-family neighborhoods and schools with extensive trail connections and direct access to one of the county's newer regional parks.
History & Local Character
The community was developed as the southwest valley expanded past Durango Drive, with land set aside for the region's largest parks. Exploration Peak Park opened as its centerpiece, and Mountain's Edge Regional Park followed, giving the community an unusual amount of open space relative to its size.
